Tortington Manor

Around a mile south of the ancient cathedral town of Arundel in West Sussex, Tortington Manor is a development of apartments, town houses and cottages developed by Sea Containers between 2000 and 2002.  Based around an 18th century manor house in the hamlet of Tortington, the development is surrounded by 17 acres of landscaped grounds.

The original Manor House was built in 1739, and for most of the 20th century the building was used as a private girls school and latterly as a college.
